Bud's Trailer Center is a family owned business that has been in its present location since its inception in 1965. The business which specializes in quality, affordable, travel trailers and fifth wheels was developed by Harold "Bud" Davidson and his wife Shirley Davidson. Their son, Scott, grew up in the RV business and helped his parents develop "THE LITTLE LOT WITH THE BIG HEART". Scott's wife, Marie Davidson, also works at Bud's Trailer Center. Our employees are experienced campers and are very willing and capable of offering expert advice to our customers. There are three main components of the business, New and Used Trailer Sales, Service and Repair,
and our Parts and Accessory Store.

NEW AND USED TRAILER SALES
Bud's Trailer Center is the area's local dealer for the Sunnybrook lines of Sunset Creek and Brookside Travel Trailers and Fifth wheels. These units are high quality, well manufactured trailers that will provide their owners with many years of dependable service. They feature aluminum framed construction and are built to last! Bud's is the oldest RV dealership in The Genesee County Area because we treat our customers honestly before and after the sale. Our business is dependent upon repeat customers and we are now serving a third generation of consumers who often tell us that their friends, neighbors, parents, and grandparents come to Bud's for a fair deal and dependable service after the sale. We do a complete check out of all vehicles before delivery and do a thorough presentation of all of the features and operation of all appliances and equipment at the time of delivery to our customers.
We also take trade ins and have quality used travel trailers and fifth wheels on our lot for sale. We perform the same check out and predelivery presentation that we do for our customers who purchase new vehicles. We also provide service after the sale when needed. SERVICE AND REPAIR
In the early 1950's, Bud Davidson owned and operated Mobile Home Service. Consequently, when he opened Bud's Trailer Center, service was a major component of this company. That commitment to service carries over to today and is one of the main reasons that Bud's Trailer Center is still in business. Bud's is an authorized repair center for all RV appliances! We provide warranty service for these companies and can also perform repairs after the warranty period has expired.
Bud's also provides warranty repairs for Sunnybrook products and repairs almost all other brands of travel trailers, fifth wheels, and pickup campers. We perform non chasis work on motor homes and do some repairs on pop up campers. We do extensive repairs and major reconstruction that result from accidents, fires, water rot, and other causes. Bud's works closely with insurance companies and conducts repairs for them when authorized to do so. We provide free estimates for repairs and do work when it is not covered by insurance as well. (FREE ESTIMATES MUST BE CONDUCTED ON THE PREMISES AT BUD'S TRAILER CENTER)
Scott Davidson has an Associate's Degree in Heating and Air Conditioning. He also worked for DuoTherm Corporation for several years and has a great deal of knowledge regarding furnaces, refrigerators, air conditioning, converters, etc. He possesses all of the current licensing to perform repair and recharging work on air conditioners.
Jim Boyles is the lead service technician at Bud's. He is very knowledgeable regarding all RV appliances and systems. He is excellent at diagnosing and repairing problems. Jim also does major reconstruction of Recreational Vehicles and installs fifth wheel hitches, back up cameras, and any other accessories that we sell.
Paul Birner and Gale Durant work with Jim on major jobs. As a group, they have about 36 years of experience in repairing Recreational Vehicles.
Bud and Scott Davidson do the estimates and work with customers to perform work when it is economically feasible to do so.

PARTS AND ACCESSORY STORE
Bud's maintains the largest inventory of RV appliance parts in the area. We not only use those parts to complete repairs in our service facility, but we also sell them to customers who prefer to work on their own units. We are connected by computer with the world's largest supplier of RV parts. In most cases, we can obtain parts overnight in order to complete repairs in a timely fashion. In some instances, we have to order parts directly through an RV manufacturer or other suppliers. Bud's also maintains a complete RV accessory store. We have most routine supplies and accessories in stock. Special orders are usually delivered to us within one day of placing the order.
We work directly with 5 major distributors of parts and accessories. Bud's provides a free, comprehensive retail catalog which can be obtained at our store while supplies last. Our catalog is also available on line by following the appropriate link to this site. Our prices are competitive and we offer numerous sale items. Again, if we don't have an item in stock, we can usually get it over night.
Mike LeClaire and Al DuBois work together to organize the store, wait on customers, order parts and accessories, schedule service appointments, process warranty claims, and perform other duties. Together, they have approximately 17 years in the parts and accessory business and have been active campers for many years. They can help you choose the items that you want and need to make your camping experience more fun.
